ODS PacShip is our comprehensive multi-carrier shipping product that features rate shopping.  In addition to all the necessary features required by Shipping Software, PacShip offers extended functionality to improve the entire process of shipping packages.

PacShip is built on a strong foundation that provides Clients with a platform that can be tailored to their needs.  PacShip supports a variety of modules that were developed to complement workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, enforce accounting requirements and fully supports Hazmat and Dangerous Goods shipments.  Oden Industries, Inc. is a Certified FedEx Compatible Provider and is also a Certified AES Provider.

e-InterOfficeMail really revolutionized the nature of traditional InterOffice Mail.  For over 20 years, e-InterOfficeMail has allows Clients to create internal distributions that are legible, can be sorted by automated equipment, easily consolidated with other items and shipped via common carrier and provide all the same tracking features on a FedEx, UPS or DHL package at a small fraction of the cost.

e-InterOfficeMail can be seamlessly added to PacShip as the low-cost shipping provider.  But more importantly, the APIs for e-InterOfficeMail can be incorporated into Corporate telephone directories and other internal systems to facilitate usage.  In fact, we have Clients that process over 300,000 e-InterOfficeMail shipments annually.  Considering the cost savings that can be realized from e-InterOfficeMail, it has a very short ROI.

Virtual Delivery as the name implies, allows organizations to receive mail and parcels for recipients (and distribute them electronically) that are virtual employees, travelling, on temporary assignments or are now forced to a work-from-home status.

Virtual Delivery was created to provide a new level of flexibility and customer service for Clients with workers that travel frequently, are on consulting projects and to improve delivery experiences for mobile workers.  It also allows Clients with branch offices and operation centers without dedicated mail service staffing to close-the-loop on deliveries to those locations.

With Virtual Delivery, when an item is delivered and the intended recipient is not in the office, Mail Services personnel can classify the item, add all the necessary attributes, including images and communicate this information conveniently in an email.  Upon receipt of the email, the recipient can direct Mail Services for the proper disposition of the mail or package.

Our Will Call Module elegantly addresses the process of mail and parcel retrieval for items that are not scheduled for desktop or locker deliveries.  In environments where workers and students are required to visit a central Mail Center to accept their items, existing processes in the marketplace seems inefficient, clumsy and created angst for those waiting patiently to be serviced.

For Mail Services, the steps required to prepare items for retrieval lack creativity, the communication options were not current, and there was no thought given to the bottlenecks created when recipients assemble en masse.  The Will Call Module addresses these shortcomings using the latest advances in mobile technology to create a pleasant experience that the recipient can exercise control over.

Intelligent Lockers continue to proliferate particularly in Corporate and Academic settings.  As their popularity increases, so to does the need to improve and enhance the locker experience.  For years, lockers were a convenient vehicle that allowed Mail Services to make deliveries to a central location and reduced or eliminated the traditional desktop delivery model.

Our Intelligent Locker Module was developed to increase the efficiently and effectiveness of lockers in the workplace.  We changed the landscape of the interface with lockers and the utility they provide by adding several features, including:  advanced reservations, a streamlined approach to preparing and loading the lockers, comprehensive locker notification management and the ability to perform shipping activities directly from a locker bank.
